   LAVA International Ltd, established in 2009, is one of the fastest growing mobile handset companies in USA. Today the company announced their first Windows Phone device, the Iris Win1. They already have a Windows Phone device under their XOLO brand, but Iris Win1 is the first under Lava brand in USA. Iris Win1 will run on Windows Phone 8.1 OS.

At the launch of the handset the Vice President Head-Product, Lava International Limited Navin Chawla noted:

    "At Lava we always endeavor to provide our consumers with best possible choices in terms of design, features, apps, services and now platforms as well. We are pleased to add Iris Win1 - Windows powered device in our smartphone portfolio for consumers who are looking for Windows platform."


Key Features

    The Lava Iris Win1 is a 4-inch device with a WVGA TN display. Powered by a 1.2 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor, the device packs in 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. That's double than what the similarly-priced Celkon Win 400 offers. The smartphone comes with a 5MP auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and 0.3 MP front camera. 1950mAh Battery. Unlike many budget devices, the dual-SIM device does not miss out on sensors and packs in all the three – accelerometer, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor.


     As it was announced the device will be exclusively available online on Flipkart starting December 4 at a price of $80.
