Priced at a surprisingly cheap £169, the L1 is Sony’s newest attempt at shaking up the budget phone market. Its large screen and sleek design make us think of Sony’s higher range of smartphones: it would be hard to single it out as the cheapest model in a line of Xperias. But at such a bargain price, we can’t expect it to perform as well as its more expensive counterparts. So how does the L1 hold up to other low-budget smartphones? Infinix Mobility is currently doing well in the Nigerian smartphone market with good volume of customers in their kitty. The French smartphone company have been consistent, releasing good and quality smartphones which are quite affordable. 


A new Infinix phablet may be ready for release in Nigeria before the end of March 2015. 

The smartphone which according to rumor is called Hot Note is already available in UAE and maybe making its way to the Nigeria market.  Below is a rundown of the specifications of the smartphone. 
  • Dual SIM/Standby
  • 3.75G/3.5G/3G/2G network
  • 5.5 inch IPS HD touchscreen with 16 million colors
  • Octa core processor clocked at 1.5GHz
  • 16GB internal memory
  • 1GB RAM / 2GB RAM variant
  • 8.0 back camera with LED flashlight
  • 2.0 front camera 
  • Memory card slot that supports up to 32GB SD card
  • Battery capacity is 4000mAh. 
One of the strongest point of the Infinix Hot Note is its battey life which will be something of desire to those that are constantly on the move and want to be productive. 



What this means is that you can do more on your phone especially with its large colorful HD screen. Another strong point of the phone is the fast charging capability which is now becoming the norm in some Abdroid smartphones now. Also it has the HotKnox feature which allows for rapid sharing of files without the need for pairing.

Currently there is no word on pricing but the tentative price will be around N24k - N28k.
